The Welter Room, located inside the clubhouse at Forest Park Golf Course, is the perfect place for your small to mid-sized events including birthday parties, baby or bridal showers, funeral luncheons, open houses or other special occasions.
The Welter Room can fit up to 72 guests seated, and 80 or more open house style. Rentals are available year-round.

Rental Fees Include:
· Up to 5 hours in the room
· Up to 8 - 60” round tables
· Up to 72 cushioned banquet chairs
· Up to 3 – 72” banquet tables
· 3 - 72” custom buffet tables
· Room will be set with tables, chairs, and trash cans/bags when you arrive (linens not included)
· Access to ice machine, refrigerator (no freezer access) and oven for heating (food may not be prepared on site)
Room Setup:
We offer the option to choose from several standard room configurations that have been created to best meet the needs of your special occasion. Seating will be customized to your guest count and occasion, but our standard setup features:
· One banquet table at the entrance for check-in, card box or registration
· Two banquet tables for gifts
· Three custom banquet tables for food, dessert and beverages
· Eight round tables with eight chairs at each table
Rental Details and Restrictions:
· Renters are required to do their own decorating as well as set-up/removal of all personal items. Valpo Parks staff will take out the trash.
· Decorations such as balloons, streamers and candles are permitted, however you may not tape, nail or pin anything to the painted walls. No Command Hooks.
· Glitter and confetti are NOT allowed.
· Caterers are welcome or the renter may bring their own food. No food shall be prepared on the premises (but may be warmed in the oven if needed.)
· Alcohol is allowed but MUST be purchased from Forest Park Golf Course. Alcohol is limited to canned beer, wine coolers, and malt beverages.
· Renters may NOT carry in their own alcohol.
